About Us

A Brief History of UIMF: The Utah International Mountain Forum (UIMF) is a coalition of several different clubs on the campus of Utah Valley University (UVU) including; The American Israeli Alliance, College Democrats, College Republicans, Foreign Affairs, Model UN, Russian, and Sustainable Mountain Development. Together these clubs work together under the umbrella of UIMF to sponsor events including; education of mountain sustainability, international guests including many foreign dignitaries, and community events including local International Mountain Day Celebrations in both 2010 and 2011.

Our Mission Statement: To promote the sustainability of the world's Mountain Environments and livelihoods through youth efforts, and community engaged learning both locally and globally through advocacy, networking, knowledge sharing, and exchanges of best practices.
